The "Canadian Police Tactical Teams" Thread
I just stumbled on that pic, and I figured it could be cool to have a thread to assemble all LEO Tactical Teams pics.
Feel free to contribute with whatever you have. Please, whenever possible, say what year the pic was taken, and what city/police departement it was. Winnipeg - 2011 http://storage.canoe.ca/v1/dynamic_r...y=80&size=650x (I'll add more) |
Can't help but love the fact the first photo posted is of Winnipeg Police's Tactical Support Team!
Curious though, wouldn't this be better suited in the SWAT/Police thread? |
Here's two I found of Kingston's Emergency Response Team

he's like : hummm I like the tacticool way better than the almost tacticool one! Me gusta
|
My brother is on it.
Heard some pretty crazy stories about the complex's they train at. Especially surprised to hear they use UMP .40s |
Odd on the Kingston one. The super tacticool gun is an HK416. Didn't know they used those.
I watched a raid going down in Rideau Heights a couple of years ago, and best I could tell, they were using C8s. Didn't get a close-up look, but the carbines had the rubber buttpad, standard foregrip and TRIAD rail. |
Yeah Crunch I noticed that... Fancy ass Kingstoners man.

http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/3439/75468869.jpg Best I can tell, those are C8s with a heavy 14.5 inch barrel and TRIAD for Toronto. |
Last I saw in the back of a Kingston tactical team vehicle they had G36Ks. But I've also seen some with glocks and some with sigs so i'm not sure they have an exact standard.
|
VPD Gang Task Force I saw the stock of either a G36 or UMP when I walked by their umarked cruiser.

Nope, Rookie Blue. Looks like filming for Season 3 down near Metro Hall- You can see all the main characters. Also note the giant boom mic.
