Thats actually a great idea, I don't know how effective it would be but it would be tonnes of fun!

Revolution Airsoft is actually hosting a contest about this. They require that you post a video of you doing and you could win stuff/money/swag/etc through them.

Sounds fun, but it's unfortunate that I have neither time, money, a pumpkin, nor a rifle at present. :P

Maybe a couple of you already doing it could enter. Don't have the contest link, unfortunately, but I think they have it up on their Facebook page.
