Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Op-For Al-Asad Impression (MkII)
5 Attachment(s)
Playing a Middle East game this weekend so I decide to tweak my COD4 Impression, as I dont fancy the same old "insurgent/Mujahadeen" look.
I put on Al-Asad patches (not shown on the computer game) for fun and for a better look. I also painted the rim of the PASGT red (the Op-For troops have this in the game) and dirtied the helmet with paint and the BDU's with dirt so they look worn and dusty. I also taped the radio BB holder to the Battle vest like Al-Asad has with his. I should have a AK47, but I have to make do with a AKM. I can also use my CA sliding stock G3, which Al-Asads goons also use. |
NICE! Looks awesome, perhaps some day I'll make it across the pond and get to see it in person.

Suprisingly cheap bud, the most expensive thing were my Spalv Para boots!
Kit list: Splav Russian Paratrooper boots Hatch knee pads Black tactical gloves (any type will do) Black BDU's (U.S cut) with homemade patches (not in the computer game, but I had to show off that cool Al-Asad crossed swords insignia somehow!). Dirted it up before hand to give it that dusty desert look. Tan Milspex 1150 combat vest from Redwolf, alas discontinued. A fantastic vest (that Scheer on this forum put me on to) it can hold at least 18 AK mags plus anything else you would want on it including a hydration pouch! plastic PASGT helmet (cheapo) painted red rim (the goons in the game have this) plus dirted it up a bit using desert colour paint plus took a screw driver and gouged chunks out of it to give it that used, lived in look. Saber Radio BB holder taped to vest (nice'n'cheap!) British Para WW2 maroon beret (has to be this one, its the proper size, the modern ones are too small) with Brandenburger Regiment crossed swords beret badge. Standard red/white shemagh. Cyma AKM with proper Soviet sling Classic Army SAR M41 ES(G3 sliding stock) |
That's awesome, dude.
