I guess you should specify if you have the 490 motor or not. With the 480, routing wiring was not as critical, as the brush hoods are different and the brush leads are routed in a different fashion as well.

A note on soldering, go easy. You don't need to heat the terminals up until they're blue and you only need a bit of solder. Don't goop the shit on.

If you have a 480 motor, the bearing is necessary to adjust the motor height. It is not required for the 490, as they are not adjustable.
