I still play paintball but I'm getting into airsoft right now, I painted one of my older markers a while back in two pattern with Krylon camouflage series have a look for yourself, stencils were used on both jobs.

These are posted on my group on facebook S.C.A.A. Simcoe County Airsoft Association. The Aug A3 isn't mine but sure looks great!

Passfield and I tried something we saw in a gun forum. Love the way it turned out (looks far better in person, as we're both inept when it comes to photography and lighting).

Yes, I know my flash hider is upside down. It wiggles when its half a turn out to make it proper.

Once you have your base coat and a few stripes in there in the colour of your choosing, you wrap the rifle with some netting (anything with a lot of holes in it works. We used a French floral end-table cloth thing, complete with patterned fleur de lis) and then go nuts. I just used a solid colour the whole way across but other people do stripes and larger areas to further break it up.

Remember to "dust" the whole project with an olive drab or brown to give it a dirtier, more realistic look. Comes out great in person.

Need a few advice from you.

I just wonder how do you guy paint the gun in tan ? I can't seem find exact Tan from the Krylon paint. I only can find the Khaki color which is I don't like it so much. The cap on the Khaki Krylon paint look like Tan but when it come out on the gun, it just plain Khaki and not exactly Tan like the cap. Any suggestion guy would be appreciate alots ..

IF you dont like the light khaki that krylon gives try Tamiya SAC bomber tan. Its expensive for a small little spray can but it works. Find it in hobby shops.

oil paint sticks to skin better than it sticks to plastic
