That and the bread could double as a pillow if you get tired. IMP's MRE's they do what they are intended for keep you going. I like some IMP's though the extra sauces in the MRE's are a real treat.

the bread is great once ya learn the art of making a field donut your all set, its also great toasted, some meals are a lil repetitive and well don't taste like anything more then IMP but ya get sued to it after a while, well wait at first you actually really like it in most cases then as time goes on it becomes a lil drab.
as for trail mix and all that the army already has rations with that stuff in it if i remember correctly from VG06 there called patrol meals have things like trail mix and raisins why would a poll attract ppl saying there new and spam?

the US ones may not taste as good but the way its packed is great, the fact you can reuse most of the stuff in the bag is a great thing to have
