I have no experience with the Guarder part in question, so I can't comment on it. I know that generally speaking, Guarder parts are quite good all around, but every company has duds somewhere...
If you get the silent piston head, I BELIEVE (although could be mistaken) that you need to get the silent cylinder head as well. They sell them as a set with both included. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=693 I have this set in my M15A4 rifle, and it works great. Although I don't buy the "silent" part of the description. I don't hear any change in the sound of my gun before or after the upgrade.

And to add to it, if I throw in a Systema magnum motor, will my 9.6 1100mah cope with it? upgrade too?

Can't say for sure, but you'd more than likely want a higher capacity battery.

get the silent piston head, its easier on your internals, i have one and its served me well
